Who I Am
In 1998 I qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a traditional firm in Preston, having gained an excellent and thorough training in all aspects of bookkeeping, accountancy and audit.
From 1999 to 2007 I undertook the role of audit senior and latterly audit manager for a proactive local practice. In this position I supervised the audit of small and medium sized owner managed businesses with turnovers of up to £40 million, as well as completing valuable financial and management accounts preparation work for a number of similar sized businesses and a number of ad-hoc projects. In this position I was also responsible for the practice IT.
Following a period of maternity leave in 2007 I decided to ‘go it alone’ and establish my own business, affording clients and accountants my expertise in areas in which I know they may require it.
I hope to provide a flexible, clear and honest service, using the latest technology available and meeting with your needs as you require.
I do not pretend to be all things to all men. However, in those areas where I cannot help directly myself, I have the contacts to be able to put you in touch with experienced professionals, should you require advice on taxation, financing, wealth management or acquisitions and disposals, for example.
Please feel free to contact me for an honest and practical discussion on whether we can help each other.
